    Welcome email help

    Hello as of right now on whmcs the welcome email is not sending. I checked it manually and it also has the wrong username im using openvz so its not a root account and its telling them that the username is root

    can anyone help?

    I'll be more than happy to help but I don't really understand. What welcome email, for a new VPS account? Do you have configured the email template (in WHMCS) ? Do you activate for the product/service to send and email etc ?

    Yes the new vps account email with the details.

    It says Username: root

    but it has its own username like : console-1231fs3

    How do i get it to send the real username?

    Are you using "{$service_username}" in email for "Username"?

    didnt seem to work.

    Also none of the emails send. They say successfully send but the customer never gets them

    Are you using php mail or smtp (in General Settings / Mail)? Try to send manually an email to see if is working, and check the logs in Utilities / Logs / Activity Logs to see if is some errors when you are sending emails...You have to check to be sure that the email is sent from you, to check if is a problem with your server, WHMCS, or the email where you are sending.

    Im using smtp. Its saying succesfully sent but not sending hmmmm

    Fixed it its now sending . But it still wont send the vps username
