    Working with another dns and also other server

    Hi.

    I have a question on creating new nameservers.

    See picture:

    imageshack.us/img560/4600/8ywh.jpg

    you have to put h t t p://

    (See highlighted 2 in picture)

    1.- In this option I can create the host names or name servers for my domain, now I have 2 nameserves are:

    ns1.myname.com = 1.1.1.1
    ns2.myname.com = 2.2.2.2

    my clients also use this same name server

    I want to create a third and fourth name server:

    ns3.myname.com = 3.3.3.3
    ns4.myname.com = 4.4.4.4.

    (See highlighted 1 in the picture)

    2.- I have a domain called myname.com
    this domain has nameservers ns1 and ns2

    I want to change the nameservers ns3 and ns4, I will work with other server

    My clients work with the previous server (ns1 and ns2)

    my question is, my clients will not have problems with their nameservers?

    All my clients have the following nameservers:

    ns1.myname.com = 1.1.1.1
    ns2.myname.com = 2.2.2.2

    I await your reply, thanks.

    Well, your image URL shows a 404 error which makes it pretty hard for us to give you any advice.

    I think you are confusing the concept of a NameServer and a Hostname. Not every hostname can be used as a Nameserver.
    A Nameserver has to be registered at the root level of the zone (if your domain is a .com domain, your Nameserver has to be registered with your registrar in the zone and is not a simple hostname you set up on your DNS Management Panel).
    1. Create 2 hostnames for your nameservers and point them to unique IPs (ns3 & ns4 as you mention)
    2. Check with your domain registrar to setup the Nameservers. This should be done in the Registrar Panel somewhere...

    yes you can select as you want nameserver but that nameserver you can register that your ip and also register that ip using registrat compny because nameserver works dns server. so please do all needful steps.

    Hello to everyone, Currently I make this change.

    I have problems with my domain TLD .Org and also .ar
    domains do not load:
    I get this warning

    Server not found

    but all TLD domains .com are working.

    I talk to my hosting staff also with godaddy and not solve the problem.

    What could be causing this problem ?

    What error messages do you get when you test your domain at http://www.intodns.com ?
    There's no such thing as an unmanaged server - It's actually self-managed. Worth remembering next time you're looking for someone to complain to.
    DATA VALUATION SERVICE: Your data's value is linked directly to your backup strategy. If YOU don't have your own backups then YOU value your data at ZERO. So why should anyone else care when you lose it?

    In the end the problem was solved and I have to thank the people of cloudflare, cloudflare thank you very much for your attention and fix this problem.

    Note: The solution was:

    Off Traffic will bypass CloudFlare CloudFlare's network

    I created ns1 and ns2 with ip of my server domains that do not work.
