    Arrow How to backup Google apps emails of your account?

    If you want to download all email communications of your account from the google apps email provided by your organisation. How should you do it?

    This is required to avoid any legal dispute arising in future. Please advice how to backup all those emails.

    Thanks Jedito. The email inbox is around 3 GB having 5000 emails. Out of that few 100 emails are very important and want to back up specific emails for legal purpose.

    So what will be the best option: download to desktop or backup in cloud?

    Google also has a program called Google Takeout and you can download an MBOX copy of your account through this,calendar and more info here
