Hello Everyone. I'm trying to figure out how to make it so accounts can be created from a sub domain of my main domain. For example, lets say I have the sub domain site.nfoservers.com, and I want to create accounts on xxx.site.nfoservers.com. Could someone explain how to do this? Thanks!
Are you creating accounts from within WHM or an external program? If you're using a system like WHMCS, I believe it lets you define a subdomain that can be used when customers sign up for hosting.
From within WHM directly, I don't think there's a way to define the subdomain in advance.
I have both WHMCS and Cpanel. Basically, I sell game servers, and I want to include web hosting free, but I want the web hosting to be put on a sub domain on my site. Is there a way to let clients select which site name they want, then put it on the sub domain? Like, a client could enter blahblah , and their site would be blahblah.site.nfoservers.com
Usually when creating the account in WHM manually you'll have the option to input a domain name for the account your creating. I've done it before where you input the domain I would put xxx.mydomain.com so I make the account with a sub domain off my main domain.
Clients that don't have a domain and usually order services (hosting) for personal use like testing software a script or a design or even template they don't mind having a sub domain.
