Question Updating Python - cPanel server

I have users wanting support for node.js on a shared cPanel server.

Can anyone let me know how to safely update python to v2.7 without breaking the server?

Note: I am running Cloudlinux OS

I have never done it. But you may refer the following tutorials.

    http://outofcontrol.ca/thoughts/comm...-2.7-on-cpanel
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7...js-on-centos-5

It won't break anything in cPanel. But I strongly suggest to contact CL support before doing python upgrade, as some of their packages are python dependent. Also be very careful doing it ( yum needs python )
