    Best cheap cloud backup?

    Hello

I have an dedicated server, and my backup is 100GB+ daily..

I'd like to know what is the most cheap server for remote backups?
I want at last 7 backups.. but need to know the best ones..

I saw this here: online.net/en/hosting/online-illimite (Note: I know it is not cloud, but it can handle a large number of files and is cheap )
But does not know what their unlimited means.. File size limit? transffer speed?

They offer "unlimited storage" obviously it is not something they can live up to, and most likely there is something in the TOS protecting them from this.
~100GB may not catch there eye, just touch base with them and see if you'll have issues backing up that much... and don't forget x 7 hehe (~700GB)

Also look at how you are performing the backups. If you are taking full backups daily then you are using much more space then if you used a more robust product offering that provides CDP type backups, performing incremental backups after the initial full backup.

    Hello,

100+Gb daily backup..is that incremental or full backups. If we do not require to retrieve data regularly the aws glacier is a good choice.

I'd recommend using something along the lines of Idera R1Soft for this. There's a few companies that offer the agents along with storage as well..

Better get a VPS or dedicated Server with more HDD than CPU which can be fully used for backups.

Buy a VPS / Cloud server running Idera, snapshot daily (incremental) to attached storage.

You can always get around costs... Consider CrashPlan wish is "unlimited" I would like to say "unmetered"
