CGI safe mode

Hi
I have solution to anti a cgitelnet script in server . That is install cgiwrap :
http://cgiwrap.unixtools.org/intro.html
http://cgiwrap.unixtools.org/
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/cgiwrap

But i dont know are there any risk if i install it , i am using cpanel , redhat server . Anybody have exprience in this ?

Without looking at the link, isn't that the same cgi-wrapper CPanel uses anyway?
