Will user stay away from bitcoin transactions?

Read that bitcoins value fell down. Do you think users will use bitcoins for transactions now as its value is low? Or will use dollars for transaction now?

Yes, the trade is very active.
Also a lot of people bought coins now as the price dropped and the coins are actually a lot more popular.
So many people bought coins as investment, hoping for another surge in price.

Because the price is unstable, no one can actually tell when the next price surge will be.

So we just keep accepting it.

Currently, the price of Bitcoin isn't so much of an issue. Most merchants that accept it use a service like Coinbase or Bitpay which immediately converts Bitcoin into equivalent USD. Therefore, it makes no difference what the price of a bitcoin is at the time of purchase because the merchant never actually holds Bitcoin.

If you accept Bitcoin directly and plan to hold it, you take on more risk due to its price volatility.

We've noticed no drop in Bitcoin transactions. It is more likely to get more popular as there's a lot of media coverage nowadays.

    Hi,

Bitcoins will be used. In the past there was at least 3-4 more surges like this and they recovered from it. I am confident that it will recover again after the new year.

Although I have never offered it to my clientele, it seems to be a growing method of making a transaction, much because of the recent media coverage.

Ensure that you are using a platform which immediately trades the BTC for your local currency so you don't experience a loss (but in that same token, you could make more, dependent on how the market is that day - it's up to whether you want to gamble).

I have heard good things about Coinjar. I haven't used them personally, but perhaps they could be a start.

Bitcoin (BTC) can be broken down into 8 decimal places. So you could purchase (or sell) 0.00000001 BTC if you wanted.

Most exchanges where you can buy bitcoin will have a minimum purchase amount. I purchased coins from coinbase.com and I think their minimum was $20.

bitcoin and crypto currencies seem here to stay. there's recent news of goldman sachs getting into the payment processor biz along with BitPay.com

I also found www.GoCoin.com which is a payment processor from BitCoin and now LiteCoin to USD or whatever currency is in your bank.

Also with the news that OverStock pulled in over $100k USD revenue in a day just by accepting BitCoin payments is a pretty strong testimony to accept Bitcoin and Litecoin on your storefronts.

I would touch anything that fluctuates so much, not even gold.

Why a lot of people get interested in bitcoin is because it can be hoard.

not very good for those who deal with just a few bitcoins
