I have VPS with them and it's down for about 20 hours. Can't access node (46.4.51.137) with vSphere Client...

You guys are lucky! I'm still offline, they've finally replied after 36 hours informing me they have no idea why the VPS won't connect to the Internet.

More downtime to look forward to.

Their website and my VDS are once again back down.

Not sure however I have been offline for over 50 hours + - Allegedly the VPS is up but can't connect to the Internet and they're with the datacenter, a load of tosh if you ask me!

    I just want my data.

This was their last replay, 2 days ago:

Our DC mistakenly disconnected our network connectivity, it should be restored shortly.
now even main page is not loading, my rankings are going to suffer so hard

I would take whatever they say with a massive pinch of scepticism, I was told they don't know why the VPS won't connect to the Internet.

In what circumstances can a DC "mistakenly" disconnect them from the network.

    It doesn't make sense.

  16. #16
    Yeah I know,

I hope they are still in business.

Me too, it couldn't have come at a worst time.

My VPS just came back up!!!

  19. #19
Yep, mines back as well. 7 hours of downtime. This, combined with the previous weeks downtime, is probably going to be the last straw for me. The lack of communication certainly doesn't help either.

Yes, the lack of communication is the worst part. If they would at least communicate proactively and appear apologetic and honest, I would consider staying with them.

My VPS was never rebooted, to it appears network connectivity was the issue.

A couple of downtimes ago I messaged the owner on Facebook (which he was cool with) -- sadly its the most reliable way to get a response, especially during downtime. I asked about today's issues and got this back

The upstream provider experienced a ddos attack. It was mitigated as quickly as possible. We are in the process of setting up a mirror for 64u, perhaps this would benefit you as well?
    Sorry again for the inconvenience.
I had mentioned frustration with not being able to access 64u.com during downtime - so a mirror might be a nice addition. Not sure I'll be sticking around though.

Glad you're back online again, make sure you do a full backup

I'm still offline, 6 days and counting one of the worst hosting experiences ever encountered

There are a few threads going on about this provider.

Perhaps we should merge with http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?p=8960558 ?

This is beyond frustrating. Every time my VDS goes down, I have to worry that they may have just closed up shop (due to their lack of communication).

I had intended to have switched providers by the next downtime, but haven't had the time yet.

9 days and counting here, no replies from support.

There main site is back online, pointless really not like they reply to customers.

I know the feeling all too well. If I didn't need some data I would have told them to "shove" it!

My advice if you have access you're lucky, backup and move out.

Absolutely. If you can get in, start a backup. No stable provider should operate like this without some customer interaction, be it here or with the client directly. Well beyond anything I'd be putting my faith in at this point as far as future stability.

John Bale has a LinkedIn profile. You might get some information there.

I agree no company in any industry should never fail in basic customer care, this whole situation stinks beyond belief.

What really gets to me is their lack of empathy, utterly shocking.

I found Johns FB page and sent him a message but no reply, not surprised though.

Don't hold your breath, I've been offline for 10 days + with no reply.

Anyone else have a VDS that has been down today? My Denver VDS has been down for about 5 hours now. Their site is still up, but no ticket response.

I'm sick of this - I think I've finally settled on a new host, but can't make the move till next week.

My VDS is still down at the Chicago data center, it's been down for over a week now and hasn't come up once.

Ugh. I've been very frustrated with my situation, but yours is so much worse. I can't even fathom how they could ignore you for a week.

They don't care, they've shut up shop IMO

Yep. My VDS is still down - supposedly a corrupt raid or something along those lines - which I found out through Facebook chat with Ryan from 64u. Nobody ever bothered to respond to my ticket.

I was only hosting a wordpress site, so I moved to flywheel. Good riddance 64u.

Did you manage to ask him why they're not responding to tickets?

    Glad you moved out.
