    2. / Organic Google 1
    3. / Social Twitter 1

    The only hash tags I see in your URL are when I'm clicking the top menu. The actual pages of your website do not contain # after the URL. Or at least I did not see them.

    I'm talking about the posts that are under the menu, right of the sidebar. As it loads, you can see the URL changes and # added and then the # is removed.

    More information:

    This is how my most popular pages are.

    Page Views % Pageviews

    1./ XX 86.26%
    2./ANOTHER-PAGE/ XX 2.81%
    3./blogs/ANOTHER BLOG 1.02%

    The root page is a huge number. No other posts, besides pages, are in the list. Any ideas how analytics can count my posts separate from the main page?

    So to clarify, do you want to see what pages your visitors are landing on by source?

    If that's the case, I would recommend using Analytics and following these steps:

    -Behavior
    -Site Content
    -Landing pages
    -Secondary dimension (search for Source/Medium)

    I'm using Google Analytics.

    This is in my header. I already tried putting the code in single.php (wordpress) and no change in analytics. The active page is / and I have no idea which post the user is viewing / listening to.

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
      var _gaq = _gaq || [];
      var pluginUrl =
     '//www.google-analytics.com/plugins/ga/inpage_linkid.js';
    _gaq.push(['_require', 'inpage_linkid', pluginUrl]);
    _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-REMOVED-XX']);
    _gaq.push(['_trackPageview', location.pathname + location.search + location.hash]);

      (function() {
        var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;
        ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://' : 'http://') + 'stats.g.doubleclick.net/dc.js';
        var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
      })();

    </script>

    Thanks for the suggestion. I followed your steps. Check the screenshot. I see / instead of actual posts. The rest are other pages or other directories. Not posts. But I really would like it if google analaytics can pick up wordpress posts instead of / the root/index.
