Which Payment Processor to choose for a web hosting business

    Hi,

As already in title, we actually was using 2checkout earlier but they shut down out account by saying due to excessive fraud they have closed the account. But i got surprised how they got fraud when we are using Phone verification + Maxmind + 2CO itself has some spam eliminating rules.

Anyways, we then decided not to continue with 2CO anymore.

Now, we need a payment processor for Credit Card payments with atleast support for the business we are in.

PS : Also that processor must support India as a withdrawal supportive country.

We use Paypal and MaxMind. Haven't ran into any issues as of yet with Paypal and I'm actually quite satisfied with them as of lately. Might want to give them a try since you had issues with 2Checkout.

I think Paypal meets all your criteria but I could be wrong. Best of luck!

    Exclamation Attention

Since your in India, I highly recommend CCAvenue for local payments & PayPal for International payments.

These are your best options for you.

Oh that's nearly 10 years, maybe now they have you on their whitelist so seems they don't bother you like they doing these days to others.

Not a single chargeback but yea a 500$ fraud order but after processing over 10k successfully 500$ is nothing i guess ?

What about PayU ? There rates are lower then CCAvenue.

PS : We are already using PayPal but since we have like 100+ customers who pay using there cards that's why it's causing us issues.

    Thumbs down

@NBExpert, I tried to get PayUPaisa, they said they wont support digital orders. They won't welcome Hosting providers to be part. They only do for courier orders.

PayU, I don't know. But CCAvenue is reliable.

PayPal, GoCardless and Stripe is what we use.

Used to use 2CO until they kicked every webhost off their services for no reason including us.

Good luck mate, Get something like CCAvenue to get Netbanking option for Indian customers - Very low transaction rates now with no setup fees!

Have seen couple of bad reports about 2CO lately... I'd try to find some other options. Not a personal experience anyway, just other people's reviews, but seems something is not working well with these guys.
