Recommendation needed for a shared account of wordpress site

    Hi,

I am looking for a webhosting shared account for a wordpress site.

It will be a new site with not much traffic.

I want a cheap and stable shared account.

Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hyo

What is your budget? Is quality a concern to you? If it is, I recommend you to avoid those too-good-to-be-true offers.

There are so many, muonium. Almost any shared host can host Wordpress.

If your site is small with little traffic, don't be drawn into offers of vast amounts of space at unsustainably cheap prices. Better find a host who offers a few GB, at most 5, for about $4-$7 per month. Then you know the prices are at least realistic. Then check reviews on this forum, to make sure that actual users are happy with the service.

You may find with the big hosting companies, they might reply quickly, but it will be some untrained Indian guy copying and pasting responses.

It will be a new site starting from scratch. So it is foolish to spend more money than I have to. The excellent uptime and good customer service are two important factors for me now.

I've read some reviews here and found out to avoid hosts like hostgator, ipage, bluehost.

Do you have any recommendation for a hosting company?

There are plenty of hosts in the Offers section that would suit your needs.

Are you looking for any particular country for hosting?

Tons and tons of hosts will be able to suite your needs when you start you site.

When choosing hosting you need to consider many things such as how much space will all your site take up this will help you find out how much disk space you need and what type if back ups will you run. Second you must think about how many people will visit and interact with your site this will help you calculate how much bandwidth you'll need.

What's your budget? Once you have a set budget you'll be able to narrow down your search. Check the hosting offers out and be sure to review the company before you sign up with them be sure to search their name on google and scoop up any information you can about how their services and customer support is.

Be sure to get fimiliar with the hosts terms of service too!

As everyone else has mentioned, your options are pretty open.

Just make sure you pay close attention to what plugins/themes you use in WordPress as quite a few of them are poorly coded and can cause resource issues.

    Good luck!

I recommend FreshRostedHosting & CrocWeb, but like said, any host can host a wordpress site.

Do you have a budget in mind? A location preference? SSD drives?

Your requirements described above does seem rather flexed so you should be good to go with most of the providers in the offers section. Check that section out, create a shortlist and then do your research to see which provider is best for you.

As long as you do not go with those fly by night host and unlimited host, you should be fine :-)

Spend something that you think a normal price for up time and good support. That is something that you want to pay.

    1) Search Shared Hosting Offer section here.
    2) Short list few hosting providers.
    3) Search their reviews on WHT and Google.
    4) Make final decision.
    5) Start with month-month billing.
    6) Avoid unlimited hosting.

    You should be fine
