Nice to see a good review on them, I used them previously (a long while ago) and I kept on having network issues, hopefully that is not the case anymore .

How long have you been with them exactly? Keep us updated on your experience with them.

+1 I have been with them since 2010. Network issues fixed a long long time ago.

Don't forget that BGP isn't instant and that one upstream carrier having issues can cause Pingdom to show an 'outage' (unfortunately). So the issue may be pretty isolated.

    Great review!

A couple of weeks back I lost my wallet with the credit card. I ask them time to pay my bills . They gave me extra one week.

Continuum did have some networking issues earlier this year. I know since I started at least 2 threads in the outages section. There were others that reported outages. To their credit, the outages did go away and it has been great for several months now. Unfortunately those outages spooked me and I decided to go with a DC closer to my office.

must have been localized to a specific rack or network segment.

i havent seen any outages besides 2 minor under 5 min ones in the last year.

3 outages in a year. I think all the provides I use have around that. I don't understand your point.

It's actually helpful if you read the replies in order.

I mention earlier that Continuum had some network issues in the first half of this year but they have been great after that. Cyberhouse said he only had 5 minutes worth of an outage. I pointed him to three threads that said something else. So that is my point.

one of your threads shows that a single /22 was down.

the other one shows some packet loss and a specific segment having problems.

so i will stick to my experience that i havent seen much network problems in the last year.

anything under 4 hours a year of network downtime is perfectly fine for me.

We've been very happy with them so far, we had the odd packet loss a while back this year however some of those things aren't in their control and it was fixed rather quickly for us. They had to drop one of their providers from BGP I believe and the issues got fixed.

~5 minute ticket replies for the most part is also great to have.
