    Need urgent help with this simple html problem...

    I'm a little rusty with html and extremely swamped busy don't have time to try to figure this out right now.

    Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong with this simple html code to align text in lists correctly? The basic html code to do lists didn't work in the way needed. I'm trying to align text so it's aligned as shown in my 1st image below rather than the 2nd image.

    Thanks

    Gualter, thanks so much I just tried what you mentioned and it worked great but the bullet disappeared. I just used a unicode to create a new bullet but the bullet isn't aligning correctly. This is driving me crazy. It keeps putting the "1." underneath the bullet and I don't know why or how to fix. The bullet and "1." should be on the side line.

    see problem attached:

    Do you have "list-style-position: inside;" set somewhere? That's what's making that wrapped line extend past the bullet, most likely.

    I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Here is the code I'm using. You see what it might possibly be other than the fact my html is very rusty? =)

    In that image where the number wraps, it looks like it's doing so because the cell isn't wide enough. You should either declare the width so it contains it, or add a non breaking space between the dot and number. That should to it (VB is translating the "dot" here).

    Code:
    <td>•&nbsp;1.</td>

    Don't know why I didn't think of that!

    Now I have second problem. There is an image on my site in that body area. I now must create 2 tables. Otherwise the text will all be squashed to the left inside a TINY little (VERY narrow) table and it looks very messed up when site is viewed in smaller devices such and android phone or tablet/ipads.

    See here... I didn't upload image yet but it will be where that "empty box" is on the right and text must flow across screen around the image. If I sue only one table, it won't work.

    See, here is problem:

    Do you guys know of any other "better" way to aign the text without needing to use tables? this is turning into real hassle with the table and it doesn't allow text to flow across the screen, it's all squeezed to the left inside very narrow table

    With the table, the site looks horrible when view on cell phones or smaller devices. Text must flow across width of screen underneath the map image. I guess I just have to make second table.

    Use images in .css

    .YourIMAGEclass
    {
    background-image: url('images/YOURiMAGE.png');
    height: 488px;
    width: 488px;
    display:inline-block;
    float: right;
    }

    I only put border so you guys could see the table. Changing it to 0 does nothing otherwise, text still doesn't wrap around image.

    I'll try adjusting it in the css, but that still doesn't solve the text problem... this is hassle. Didn't realize it would be this big of a problem to get text to align.

    Any other coding I can use without table to accomplish what I need?

    Thanks for help.
