hostbill - public ip
Recently purchased Hostbill. During preinstall checks i get the following error..
"Your server IP 10.0.4.101 is private address"
I obviously understand what its saying, but i was really hoping to keep this server behind our internal network firewall and so forth.
Is really the ONLY way to stick this box outside the firewall with a public ip?
I guess i could also give it a public ip just for install and then move it back, but not sure if that will break anything.
I contacted Hostbill support, but have been waiting for days for a answer and i just need to get this moving.
I think HostBill, like a lot of software, require a public facing IP address for licensing.
Please provide ticket ID.
