I highly doubt you made that template. That template is sold on ***************.com, and i have talked to the designer who made it on mIRC.

that looks like a template sold on template monster and i am sure he didn't buy it uniquely, therefore it was sold to more than just him. so it's not his fault he bought an re-sellable template.

What work did you do for you, skykec?

You need to explain more.

Yes guys, you are in right, I didn't talk about that template design, I just mention his website so you can know in future who is he and with who you dealing with. That's all, I made for him something different, not that template.

If you gave him the work before he payed you youve learned a good leason...Get 50% before you start and the other 50% before you give them anything.

Thats where people will screw you the most is on the little work that isnt worth much money wise. They think that you wont go after them. Have a signed contract.

well you should always ask for a downpayment and never give the finale design until the the completion of payment. And put a watermark on the design...

If it is a job for a small amount, I will normally require to be paid in full, upfront. Only if I've seen (know of) you around WHT for a good while, would I do any differently.

If people are seriously looking to "pay" somebody for the work they need and they sense your legit also, normally the next question your asked is where to send the money to.

Larger paying jobs, I indeed require at least 50% upfront, at least. Even then, when I send work to the client for approval, the work is watermarked until I've received payment in full.

On the rare occasion when a client wants to pay in full - upfront - I certainly have no problem with that.

Better luck in the future, to you.
