    Broken submit button?

I host a web application (applicant tracking system). Is a LAMP application and run wonderfully.

However, as I try and reinstall it on a second development server, there is something wrong with my installation - because submit buttons don't work! In particular, we had a developer build an enhanced SQL query builder, and as I try to test it out, I can't run a query on my resumes!!!

This is perplexing because the identical code just worked on the production server (i just zip up the code from the production server, and moved it over to this dev server... and the submit button doesn't work for resume searching...) It did this before so I reinstalled the whole thing, suspecting that it was a glitch...

What component or utility do I need to install, to allow simple submit buttons to run? This is very frustrating!

Any help or suggestions would be helpful

    • Debian Linux 7.2 (wheezy)
    • PHP 5.4.4-14+deb7u5
    • Apache/2.2.22 (Debian)
    • MySQL 5.5.31

    Thank you in advance!

Possibly get php to write out (to the webpage) the SQL steps it's processing, and related responses. From there the developer should be able to figure out why it's not working any longer. Likely minor permission error...
