Looking for partners to create a shared "Anti-Fraud" database
Hello to fellow hosters.
We would like to discuss an opportunity to create a shared anti-fraud database, potentially as a WHMCS plugin, which would give more information about new coming orders.
I think many of us face the issue of fraud checking of new orders but sometimes is it extremely difficult to do that. Fraudsters do everything possible to order products using stolen credit cards and identities.
That is why we thought of discussing this opportunitiy with a wider audience and potentially finding partners for creating a shared database, where each partner would be able to insert:
> Fraudulent client`s full name
> Reasons why it was fraud, such as - chargeback, spam, hacking, etc
and will have the ability to check his new coming orders against that database with entries from others hosters.
We would like to discuss potential legal complications for that - whether it is OK to share such information with others and if there is interest in such.
Please let us know your thoughts on that.
