    taken from its website:

Ok, we know it is hard to offer something for free. And, to be honest, we can not foresee the expenses it will have.

As 2 designers/developers (Umut Muhaddisoglu - WebResourcesDepot, Daniel Rimille - SSLmatic) behind this service, we simply want to experience (from our websites, you can see that we think web must be free or cheap). This is exactly why we created Uptime Robot (in Jan 2010).

Hopefully, Uptime Robot will be able to finance itself with sponsors, ads ,etc. which will help us keep it free.

Also, we know that nobody likes a free service going paid. If we ever need to charge users to guarantee the future of Uptime Robot, we'll try our best to keep what is already free as free.

Uptimerobot isn't that great, but they are way better than some paid services like Statuscake. But from my experience, nothing can really beat Pingdom. Many people report they have false positive, but I find them pinpoint on each.

LogIn to your account and there are options to Disable or Delete

I prefer to Disable them, that way I can refer to previously used ones

The Delete facility may only appear after the Monitor has been in use for at least 24 hours
