    Why is AdSense refusing subscription

I got a general mail from AdSense saying that they cannot approve my account. The issue is that I cannot understand what's wrong.

Could you help me pin-point the cause, because even though their refusal justification is general, maybe it's different than other refusals

    Mine says like this:

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into AdSense at this time.
We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.
    - Site does not comply with Google policies
    Further detail:
Site does not comply with Google policies: We're unable to approve your AdSense application at this time because your site does not comply with the Google AdSense program policies (, or adhere to the Webmaster Quality guidelines ( It's our goal to provide our advertisers sites that offer rich and meaningful content, receive organic traffic, and allow us to serve well-targeted ads to users. We believe that currently your site does not fulfill this criteria.
Here are some recommendations to help you improve the user experience on your site and comply with AdSense criteria:
    - It’s important for sites displaying Google ads to offer significant value to the user. As a publisher, you must provide unique and relevant content that gives users a reason to visit your site first.
    - Don’t place ads on auto-generated pages or pages with little to no original content.
    - Your site should also provide a good user experience through clear navigation and organization. Users should be able to easily click through your pages and find the information they’re seeking.
Please refer to the Webmaster Quality guidelines for more help on how to provide a positive experience for your users.
As soon as you’ve made the necessary changes, we’ll be happy to take another look at your application.

To update and resubmit your application, please visit and sign in using the email address and password you submitted with your application. The way I read it is that by accessing one of the URLs that they specify it would be prohibited content:

    Is this the issue?

    Many thanks

Adsense has strict policies. They dont need a reason to refuse a website.

If they feel that your website isnt suitable, they will just reject it.

Unfortunately, they do not specify the reason...

    Thank you Sam,

I was more curious whether there are other reasons for refusal, and whether other unlucky guys like me got a different answer.

Sometimes you have to read between the lines, but I do not know if that's the case now.

I'm guessing Google's not excited about the content on your site. Maybe not enough, not original, or stuff they think isn't useful enough to generate views for Adsense display.

If they allow re-submissions, try really improving content and design. Then re-submit. After enough trial and error, you may be able to pinpoint the source of application denial.

You mean Google rejected your application for Google Adsense Program??

i dont know even they didnt mention the error
They will not give you error message. Instead they will give you reason why your application was rejected.

Getting approved by Google Adsense is becoming tougher these days. Once your application is approved for one website, you can use on other websites also. So, make a very good website with lots of content. Work to get decent traffic and then apply for Google Adsense.

Few Tips to get approved by adsense:
    • No free domain name like .tk
      Use good domain like
    • Clean and Modern Design.
    • Avoid 404 Error pages
    • Lots of content. May be a good blog with many tutorials.
    • No duplicate content. Don't copy content from other websites.
    • Should have decent traffic. Join Google webmaster tools to see performance of your website. Use Google Analytic to see visitors details.
