    restore problem

    hi

    i have problem

    Restore Error Cannot restore. That user already exists on this system

    im try to restore account on my whm

    i already deleted/terminate the old account

    but still

    i cant restore

    Do you have backup file saved on server??
    And are you getting any error message??

    im using restore on whm
    i choose the username i want restore

    than show this error

    Restore Error Cannot restore. That user already exists on this system

    if your restoring a cpanel move file restore it from the command line and use the --force option or remove the user via the command line

    It looks like you are restoring using a cpanel move file located in /home directory. You have two option.

    1) Move the backup .tar.gz file from /home to /backup/daily/date/accounts

    OR

    2) Terminate the account, and then restore the account.

    Did you try:
    Move the backup .tar.gz file from /home to /backup/daily/date/accounts and then restore from:

  10. check below files and directories for users existance.

    * check does the /home/ dir has the user directory
    * grep <USER> /etc/userdomains
    * grep <USER> /etc/trueuserdomains
    * grep <USER> /etc/trueuserowners
    * grep <USER> /etc/remotdomains
    * grep <USER> /etc/localdomains
    * grep -rl <USER> /var/cpanel/userdata/
    * grep -rl <USER> /var/cpanel/users/
    * check /var/named/ has its zone file and also check /etc/named.conf

    Then just try to create the same account if it shows errors too then somthing wasn't removed when you terminted the account.
