How can I do a one-time server backup?

I've got a server that I am cancelling and am wondering how I can do a backup? I've downloading the web files, did a DB backup, and a few other things... but I wouldn't mind doing a COMPLETE backup and keeping that somewhere *just in case* I need something else down the road.

Is there a way I can create a backup file, or something similar?

You can use rsync or tar to backup your files.

If your looking to do a full backup, I would recommend Mondo Rescue, it will create an ISO that can be used to grab files off the entire system.
