with all the recent security problems with WHMCS, im also wondering about the security of the plugins/modules available most specific regarding the one made from modulesgarden.com
Im worry about this, because one of my hosting providers is using a lot of modulesgarden.com WHMCS modules and im just want to make sure that they are secure.
So can anyone tell me if the recent WHMCS security issues can be related or also found in WHMCS modules, like the one made from modulesgarden.com and others?
Also, how does WHMCS team keep a track of security on the WHMCS plugins? Do they test them from their end just like in the Apple App store or security responsability if from the one who make the plugin / module?
I'm not sure if modules garden integration plugin is secure, if you concern about security in modulesgarden, you should change the password directly from cPanel / SolusVM or any Services, don't change it from modulesgarden or any third party modules in WHMCS.
Also don't do any task directly from modulesgarden / whmcs.
Yes they are, they are reliable and secure. I've used their modules before and use the one the released for another brand. WHMCS doesn't check them, you can trust them as WHMCS made an agreement with ModulesGarden to only sell their brands modules.

I am not sure if WHMCS has time to check the security of plugins/modules. The best thing to do is to just use official ones that come with WHMCS or develop your own. Also, using more recent modules/plugins would help too and use ones that are developed frequently.
