It's just a matter of time before Google, Yahoo or some other giant establishes the ability for us to pay for (ahead of time, duh) web hosting services and domain name maintenance after our deaths. A lot of my sites concern alumni groups that could go on forever if the descendents of the original participants are interested in the "good old days" when grandpa served in the Navy, went to the college that only survived 5 years, or participated in some other historical activity.
The last time anyone did what I have done with http://www.Cyriac-FHP.com was in the 15th century (http://www.cyriac-fhp.com/cix.htm) and I don't expect anyone to develop interest in maintaining it for another couple hundred years. But, in the interim, the data going back a couple thousand years is still valid and maybe even interesting to enough people to warrant keeping it online and in search engiines.
So, anyone out there aware of anything happening or planned in this regard?
