    mail problem with current provider

    Dear friends,

    I'm encountering some problem
because my emails are being still filtered from anti-spam servers, also after I setup DKIM/SPF/DMARC.

They told me my actual provider doesn't care about mails sent by their users,

so I'm here to ask you if you have any advice for us.

I think we can get a virtual server from a provider with great email reputation, and use that to route our emails, keeping the actual dedicated server where it is.

What do you think about it?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Thomas,
your IP's are in a blacklist because of the mail your sending?
    Is that the case?

if so then you will just black list another providers IP address.
I don't think they will be to happy about that.

Please clarify I am a bit confused

"your IP's are in a blacklist because of the mail your sending?
    Is that the case?"

    nope!

Provider reputation is not so good,
so my mails are filtered sometimes.

A great email expert wrote me

"It's not you, it's everyone else at xxxx. They've known about this problem for years yet do nothing about it. The solution is to find a provider that cares about the mail its clients send. "

maintaining ip reputation is not an easy task and usually host wont help you (other than if the whole subnet/network is blacklisted), Gmail/Hotmail often mark emails from new ips (or with very low email activity) as spam even if your ip is not blacklisted and you have valid spf/dkim records
goto http://www.senderbase.org/ to check your ip reputation

if you are sending automated emails , try amazon ses (even tough some of their ip are blacklisted but the mail usually go through)

    thank you Ahmed!

I have already DKIM DMARC and SPF.
    Trying to build a reputation.

Actually my reputation on senderbase is neutral.

Do you think this guy that told me to change provider wrongs?

You can easily test this with for a month on different server and check the results by yourself, this is your safest bet.

If you have a great email expert why you don't tell him to solve your problem? It doesn't matter if your hosting provider have a reputation or no, in general, email is drop by ip, or probably you are sending out spam (unsolicited emails) and is filtered by the body of your email..

Dear Rowebca, I submitted abuse entries in abuse.net registry, and my email was denied!

So I contacted the hostmaster of abuse.net (it's connected to spamcop, cisco) and he answered me that...after a little research it went out that he is an email expert... but he's not paid to resolv my problems... so I posted the question here.

I think like you Rowebca: from my research email reputation is made by ip not netblock... but as this guy seems to be a professionist I started to suspect on my thoughts.

    Thomas

P.S. I don't send any unsolicited emails... they are all normal emails! With my last provider I never had problem with spam filtering of my emails... their was using a dedicated netblock which is allowed to go out throught port 25... the normal netblock was limited on outgoing mails... I think this is the reason why with the old provider I never had any problem

To help to narrow down this matter, I need more info, can you post your domain with the problem here? Like this I can check for you. Only if your comfortable with this...Second, are you talking about your ISP provider or web hosting provider?

The line with X-YahooFilteredBulk: 144X.76.20X5.200 it means Yahoo recognize the ip as sending spam and blacklisted it. Even you install the Domainkeys, rDNS still Yahoo pushes your email to bulk folder if it recognizes the IP is blacklisted.
