    /29 which ip's does that mean ?

    I know this is a bit of a dumb question, but i just gt a few new ips today and was told that I have xx.xx.xx.0/29 . So which ones are they ?

    Probably 5 Usable IPs.
    Total 8 IPs, 3 for Server + Network setup and 5 are Useable IPs.

    if it was .0/29, then .0 is network address, .1 is the gateway, .2 .3 .4 .5 .6 are usable, .7 is broadcast

    And if you have redundant routers then .2 and .3 are router ips.

    a /29 also means your IPs must be in sequence -
    or -
    ...... -

    Good thing is you are safer within the /29 than if you were given 5 public IPs.
