SSD caching on software RAID 1
I've got a server with 2 x 1.5 TB 7200 rpm HDD's in SW Raid 1 and one 60 GB SSD drive and was wondering if it's possible to use ssd caching with software RAID.
I plan to use it for shared hosting in a few months, so the kernel will be Cloudlinux.
Also if ou have some links or tutorials I would be grateful.
There are some software-wise SSD-caching options available.
Flashcache is 1 of them:
There are also others like 'bcache' and 'EnhanceIO'.
» www.InstantDedicated.com - Online in no time
» Dedicated Servers in [EU] Netherlands with DAILY support, also on weekends
» DDOS Protected network - 100% Money Back if it doesn't work for you
» Streaming / IPTV allowed | Up to 10 Gbit ports | 100% Network Uptime
We have always heard and had good luck with using fastcache on customers server, give that a shot, it should certainly help you.
Thanks for the replies. Do you have any link to a tutorial that I could use for CentOS/ Cloudlinux ?

You can try to use Flashcache (a technology developed by Facebook).
