primary htaccess file for all possible?

I have about 12 personal websites and when someone tries to run scripts to look for holes i ipdeny their ip..

instead of having to update all 12 sites htaccess files, is it possible to set up a primary htaccess file and list all the denied ip's in that file and have the sites include this file as if it was part of the local htaccess file.

i could store the primary htaccess on my WHM i guess if it was possible..

    thanks

Instead of using a .htaccess, you should simply add the deny settings in your httpd.conf from WHM. You can also use CSF/IPTables to block IPs globally, which might be a better option.

Both solutions I suggested would require WHM/root access.

    You're welcome and good luck!
