    Very big problem on Esxi server

    Hi dear friends,

    Im using esxi server for virtualizing in privatlayer
    every thing was good till last month one of my server faced problem like this :
    When i installing a new VM when the installation is finishing and os reboots and comes up when it want to recognize the Network card
    the root server goes down . now all my servers in this DC have this problem and i cant add any vm on this servers .

    Any body have this issue if yes what is the solution ?
    Plz advise

    My advice:

    1. Stop selling virtual machines.

    2. Check the error logs: Here's the KB: http://kb.vmware.com/

    3. Hire a vmware sysadmin

    Don't mean to sound harsh, but by creating this thread along with having a signature selling the same thing you cannot fix looks very amateur.

    I mean, checking logs is like IT 101 - have you done this yet?

    Sir its not related to sell or not sell vps
    we have more than 5 locations and we have problem only in switzerland location

    also i have checked logs too
    but i can not find the problem

    What error log did you check & version of ESX is it?

    version of esxi is 5.1
    and i have checked
    hostd.log
    sysboot.log
    syslog.log
    and some others

    Ok, then I'm assuming that logging was not configured. See this doc below, then after you've configured logging, duplicate the problem. Then check the logs again.

    Did you try asking your DC engineers to look at the issue? that should be your first option.

    do you mean the host goes down ?

    yes the host goes down
    also we have free ram and storage in server
    and this server is managed by vcenter
    if you need any log i can put it here

    Do you have a shared storage?

    Might be a good idea to move live VMs to another host while you troubleshoot the problematic host.
