    * Soholaunch - General Security Warning - Disable Software ASAP!

We reported a couple privilege escalation security vulnerabilities to Soholaunch back in September.

Long story short, they provided a fix that didn't seem to do anything as in we didn't notice a single difference. We went back and forth until they stopped keeping us up to date on the status of a working fix.

Checking a fresh install of Soholaunch today shows all of the flaws remain. You are all hereby warned to disable Soholaunch for cPanel / WHM until further notice. An attacker can take control of any file on the server, including /etc/passwd and give themselves instant root access.

After this post came up Soholaunch finally responded to us, and we helped them come up with a solution that would resolve the security issues

    All good now
