    hey what more good?

    centos-6-x86_64.tar.gz or centos-6-x86_64-devel.tar.gz

    always the stable branch

    But i think this distro "centos-6-x86_64-devel.tar.gz" can be centos with the "Development tools" installed or not??

    I prefer install what is needed myself, I always go minimal.

    Stable with minimal. That's way it only has what you want.

    If it's for production use, go with the stable version. Never the latest release as you may encounter issues.

    I would highly recommend going with the stable release as well as minimal. If you need to install any other packages you can easily do so.

    I always get the minimal one and install the stuff I need!

    Minimal and stable version, never go with beta! unless you want to try it out
