members of the forum do not know were your traffic is coming from.
If its just a hosting site then any location in North America will probably do. If you want to get a exact demographic you need to go though your stats for your web page and see which IP's are connecting to your site (weeding out the junk traffic) if your site(s) are currently live.
As far as ram goes word press can run on a server with as low as 128MB of ram I have even seen some cases when well optimized runs on just 64MB of ram and on the other spectrum I have seen a busy Word press site use 8+GB of ram. Word press can be very resource hungry depending on how you use it.
If you truly going to use 6TB of traffic you should probably be looking for a Dedicated server
Some seasoned word press users may be able to give you some more insight if you give them more particulars of what will be on the site(s)and what plug ins you will be using.
Thanks for the answer.
The thing is that currently we have around 1000 views per month and the wordpress site is pretty big because it has lots of graphics in it so there lots of traffic.
We expect to have a large growth in traffic soon when we move to the new server.
The thing is that currently the views are very much spread and we cannot say that there is more in a specific destination. we have about 65% in the USA(spreaded all around) and 35% Europe, Africa and far east.
This is the real situation currently so it's hard to say.
Appreciate your honesty,
Im not so sure about VPS architecture. To be honest I don't really have experience with it or knowledge about the differences.
Is there a place where I can read about it so I can make a wise decision?
