When I go to example1.com or example2.com I see the correct apache server for that domain. So everything is working correctly to this point. What I would like to do is be able to connect to Mysql remotely by typing example1.com or example2.com as the host name. So I need some sort of routing for Mysql the same way nginx works for port 80. Please let me know if this is possible.
How are you planning access Mysql from those VMs?, if its via web PHPMyAdmin the existing Nginx redirect is enough and do not need any further routing. Or if you want to access Mysql from a remote machine, yes, you will need Iptables forwarding rules.
