Colocation DC/Northern VA Area
Looking for a full rack, 20amp, 1Gbps flex (using < 30Mbps ), and the facility needs to have a SSAE 16 audit or equiv. Budget is around $1,200-$1,400 on a five year commitment. Prefer centers with Meet-Me-Room for future growth potential and Level 3 access.
In a bit of a crunch, so thanks in advance!

Haven't toured any and willing to do a five year commitment. Myself and some of my staff will need access to do the install and major upgrades. Other than that would prefer to use remote helping hands to deal with the little issues.

Prefer Level 3 as they are soon to be our fiber provider in our new building. AboveNet/Zayo are fine however I would need to test Cogent latency. Doubt it will be a issue.

Make sure whatever provider you have is using Noction or some type of optimization software if Cogent is in the mix. Also, you want make sure that the provider you choose has multiple carriers and not just one.
That would definitely be my recommendation.

365 Main is in Reston VA.
They have Level 3, Cogent, Fiberlight, Zayo and Verzion according to their site.
We've gotten some good deals with them and they're great to work with.

I have a small cage in Equinox. They are a little pricy (in Ashburn, VA.) But worth every penny in my opinion. Just don't use their smart hands. Not the brightest of individuals for the most part.

Your pricing requirements are definitely doable, in fact I would think significantly less. Assuming 120/20 primary/redundant, with a 50Mbps commit on a gigE port, for under $1000/month.

Thanks for SO @quotecolo. Our Reston facility is really competitive in terms of pricing compared to other data centers in the region, like Equinix Ashburn. The requirements versus budget mentioned above is certainly doable. In fact, the MRR for a 20A full cab may even be a little lower with a 5 year commitment. This data center is also SSAE16 certified. If you have questions, feel free to PM me.

Helping hands needed to do drive swaps or other basic task that I don't want to have someone drive 4 hours to do. Thank you all for the responses! I learned at the last second the colo I was looking at didn't have the SSAE16 audit I needed.
