Hi. I saw that all http requests redirecting to https on some Hosting providers' sites. So their home page is redirecting to https although not necessary(SSL is not EV). I am thinking to do it for our Hosting company site. Can it be increase sales or what can be the advantage and disadvantage?

I would not recommend having your entire site and home page going to SSL. The reason why these hosts do this is because they are lazy and don't want to full around with separating the HTTP and HTTPS. Because more then likely they have already setup the site for HTTP and then realize they need SSL and instead of fixing the issue or maybe they don't know how to do it, so they just redirect the entire site to HTTPS.
This can slow things down a little and diminish the users experience. Especially if your transferring none ssl images over SSL so this will cause the green lock to indicate their is a problem, or the images wont appear so you will see a broken image. Or they may get a warning.
