I ordered a VPS from leasevps.com to test their 10gbps advertised speed. It's insane for a VPS to get up to 10gbps network speed, but there is a catch: disk is limited to 100MBytes/s. So if you don't cache it, you can't push more than 100MBytes/s (about 1gbps).

I liked the fact that the machine was created automatically... in about 5 minutes I had the IP in my email.
I contacted support couple of times, had a nice chat with Daniel from support (for some reasons only he was picking up my calls).
So, in order to test the 10gbps network, i mounted a tmpfs and did the wget from 40x 1gbps nodes. Here are the results:
