    Exclamation StylexNetworks.com - HUGE Downtime

    Hello all.

    We are in our first month on StylexNetworks and we are already facing a major downtime.

    Our "Heavy Duty Cloud" has been offline during the hole day.
    I first contact them about 7 hours ago, and they still have no ETA.

    Their techs staff also wont let us know what is the problem.

    We feel really disappointed about their service and transparency to the costumers that trusted their services. They could at least tell us what is going on there.

    We already lost lots of money because of the downtime, and right now they wont even answer to our tickets anymore.

    So watch out if you are willing to pay for their services.

    Who's your rep, I normally get Adam, his good but I've never had any issues, and I have a VPS with them.

    I have two vm with them and take several hours down.
    apparently the benefits of "Cloud" is just marketing

    There are benefits of having cloud infrastructure, as long as it is designed correctly. I wouldn't rule it out.

    Seems to be a problem with one of their SAN units. Network is up as the IPs I have with them are pingable.

    This is not new with them... There was a thread few months back where op was having same kind of issues but stylxnetworks rep said this has been fixed and wont happen in future....
    Yet again this happened to us...

    Did they tell you what the cause of the downtime was for the previous issue?

    I know the current outage is caused by a problem with their SSD SANs.

    Honestly though, I found their service and support to be quite reliable overall. This is the first actual unexpected outage I have experienced with them. Looks like it's been down for at least 4 hours now, unfortunately.

    I was not their client at that time...
    About current issue i still didn't get any update from them.....
    No ETA...

    No ETA for me either, they just said it's an issue related to their SSD SAN.

    I believe the majority of their IPs start with 198

    If your VM is still up then I guess the issue is only affecting some of their SANs and not all.

    They introduced a new SSD SAN whereas their previous infrastructure has only SSD Cache. I guess the old infrastructure is not affected. The servers on the new SSD infrastructure is only affected.

    Correct, we do have multiple infrastructures and SAN storages, not every client was effected by this.

    You have to login and reboot your VM manually I found for it to come back online.

    Looks like it affected more than just downtime, after all this now my cPanel licenses are expired.

    Twice they have had a "san problem" in the last 3 months. Something tells me this is not High Availability or auto failover...
