    WHMCS - Security update related question

    Hello,

    in whmcs blog, on nov 3, they have released a small security path also known as a hook file. but it stating if you install this hook

    " although please note this will also prevent admin list ordering from working fully in certain places."

    in that , what does it mean "this will also prevent admin list ordering from working "

    Admin list ordering is the ability to change the order of lists in the admin interface - for instance, sorting the list of clients by name or date.

    The patch is only necessary if your admin panel is exposed to the public. If you've secured it properly then it's a non-issue.
