    Best:

iPhone 3GS which is almost 4-5 years old now and I'm still using. Looks almost as good as the day I bought it too!

    Worst:

My old BlackBerry Curve! Oh, the thing kept failing on me and I went through about 3 of them prior to going to the iPhone. Memories of that experience still haunt me to today.

Best - iRiver portable media player. Best ever player you can have. Faaaar better than the Apple ipod.

Worst - I'd say nothing turned out worst for me, as i usually select gadgets that are only good.

Best: Not really a gadget, but I'd have to say my Galaxy S3's Extended Battery from ZeroLemon: http://www.zerolemon.com/ (5-6 days without charging! )

Worst: Sony PSP. The games sucked, my thumb hurt when I did try to play them due to the badly placed analogue stick, the battery life was poor, it used a custom Sony specific memory cards of which were seriously overpriced and I didn't really like hand held consoles in the first place. Stupid idea, and now it isn't worth even selling because it's old.

It sits in that draw we all probably have, full of "gadgets", gathering dust.

    Worst: Pet Rock

For me, the best device I ever owned was a Sprint Treo 700 smartphone. It was very much ahead of its' time, featuring a QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen, a variety of applications, the abiltiy to play almost any type of media, full internet websurfing capability, and all the features of a normal smartphone.

The worst? Tandy 1000 SX, USAF surplus, running a home-made OS. That poor computer was so neurotic that it would crash during boot-up if connected to a printer; it had to be connected after start-up to work at all.

My favorite (not best or most powerful) device was the SNES. It was the greatest console of all time in my opinion.

Runner up is the HTC One. Absolutely love it.

Worst device was the 17" Powerbook G4. Hottest, slowest, most expensive laptop i've ever used.

Furbies are right up there with troll dolls. Troll dolls, Chia Pet, and The Clapper.

Used to work with a guy, who bought hundreds of furbies in bulk to try and offload. Actually frustrated me because he never did anything with them (one of "those" types) and they were so popular at the time that when he did try he jacked up the price so much that some parents couldn't afford even one or two.

If I ever end up in a position where I've got money to burn -- or singe at least, I'm gonna buy up the most popular "in" toy, whatever it is, and give it all away to the kids

    Best: A computer.
    Worst: Beanie Baby.

Someone game me a beanie baby and the first thing I did with it was give it to some little kid.

I still remember when they were popular back in the 90s, and the fairgrounds I used to work at would host Beanie Baby events. At one such even the parking lot maxed out by 10 am and there was still a queue of cars almost a 2 kilometres long waiting to get off the freeway next to the fairgrounds. Not even the yearly fair attracted that many on it's busiest day.

Best: Original iPhone - It changed everything.
Worst: Palm Treo 650 Phone - The thing was bulky, ugly, and didn't hold a charge more than 3 hours. I had it for maybe a month. Thank god for Apple completely changing the direction of cell phones.

Ha, I forgot I bought a Palm once! It was a Palm Z22, piece of rubbish tbh, though credit where it's due, it did feel like it was built well, didn't cost a lot and managed to sell it on for near enough what I paid for it so I wasn't too fussed.

I remember those! They were fantastic MP3 players, very lightweight and I reckon, in terms of design, a lot more beautiful than what was on the market. However the iPod rotational scroll was pretty innovative so I can understand why they did so well.

    Best gadget so far: nexus4
worst: iPad - probably great for those that need it, I suppose if it wasn't an impulse purchase and I had a genuine need for it, then it wouldn't be my worst.
