How do you edit a post?
I feel silly for asking this, but I can't see any way to edit my posts. (Yes, I'm signed in.) Where do you click?
Also, is it cool to ask this kind of question here? What separates what should be asked here from what should be submitted to the helpdesk?

Thanks Sam, it looks like you're right, as I have an Edit button on my OP in this thread. What's the rationale for that? It's often useful to be able to edit a post after whatever window of opportunity is closing here. What is the window of opportunity?

You have 15 minutes to edit your post. Surely you can find any typos within that 15 minute window.
If you need an edit after the 15 minutes, you can click the Report Post button (Button in the top right corner of a post labeled REPORT) and supply detailed information on what you need edited.
It's setup like this because that's what the edit button's for - fixing typos. We don't set it to longer because it gives opportunity for scammers and spammers to cover their tracks. There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.
