Hawk Host Down, Down and Down,...
Two weeks before I am looking for new hosting, I read this topic
Web Hosting Talk
You need five posts before being able to use any of this board's vB code features. Including smilies and linking to URLs.
-----/* very good Web Hosting Talk don't accept direct link to original topic */
after more investigation I finally choose and try Hawk Host / Basic hosting for few simple almost static page.

Looks like they're under DDOS attack and had to null route the main IP for the server.
I don't think that your comments on the company being poor is very fair IMHO.Fluid Hosting LLC providing specialist hosting services since early 2001.
Hsphere Hosting and Dedicated Server specialists in Equinix NY2 and NY4.

Yep, the first thing to do in such situations is to check your hosting provider status page.

All hosts... cheap ones, expensive ones, "good" ones and "bad" ones go through difficult situations from time to time. The issue I see whats written on their website regarding the issue is:
"Due to a large DDoS attack on this system a shared IP was nullrouted. We are moving effected sites to a new IP now"
Typically the DDoS will begin to affect the new IP because the target is likely a website that's being hosted on the shared IP. A more effective course of action is spreading 100 different IPs on the shared server, this way only 1 percent of the websites on the server will eventually be affected and it will be easier to discover the targeted website.█ JixHost | U.S.A. based hosting & support for 8+ years. | Powerful, reliable network.

I am their 2-3 years user on server "sea006" ,hawkhost no bad:
as the status said this six months is stable. I use a monitor also that show me sometimes(months) their uptime was 100%,that's pretty good ,but sometimes may failure to 98.9% ,I am not sure the monitors 100% reliabled ,just used some(different sites) free plans test every 10-30 mins.some of them like garbage useless --- Pingdom --- never alert.
however I didn't use it nearly a whole year(my plan till year 2014) because for small business based online a basic shared plan i can't trust it now.their semi-dedi and vps may good but no cheap. their shared plan great for a low traffic blog and html site. the price fair enough.
I think managed cloud server/hosting is better for a custom who cared of uptimes. or choosing a full managed vps . anyway we should keep focus on business self instead of talking too much with the hosting .

Bad timing. DDoS attacks happen [unfortunately] -> http://www.digitalattackmap.com/
You could have been with them for 5 years prior and never had an issue until today and you'd brush it off. You sign up yesterday and have issues today and you're throwing a fit.
Point is - it happens - it could happen the day after you sign up or not once in 5 years. It's not HawkHost that is launching or soliciting such attacks so they're not to blame. They've obviously done their best to keep people online and to mitigate the attack.
Anybody that puts HawkHost down because one of their servers came under a DDoS attack has probably never dealt with a DDoS attack from the server side of things... It's not fun and trust me - HawkHost is not in the business of having sites offline.
If you think it bothers you that your one account with them was offline - how do you think they feel about a whole slew of accounts being affected? You think your day was bad? Theirs was worse [I guarantee it].
