VPS Service Referal
Hello everyone, I thought I would ask the community for a referral as there are so many server companies out there its quite overwhelming.
I'm looking for a few reliable companies that provide server hosting.
The specs I am looking for are as follows.
RAM: 4GB burst
HD: I dont need a large hard drive. preferably a SSD or fusion HD depending on price.
IPs: /25 range
I appreciate all the feedback.
IMHO a SSD is not so big advantage because most of the time one website is loaded in server memory.
You could check for VPS hosting offers at "find a host" section http://www.webhostingtalk.com/web-hosting-providers.
So many offers in there, so much information, I thought I'd ask here so I could filter through some of the companies more efficiently.
You want 125 ip's with a VPS?
You won't get a VPS with that many IP's you will need to go dedicated, assuming you have proper justification.
gettign a /25 range is unique. I have got them before. But yes dedicates work too just more expensive.
Well if nothing else it's narrowed your choices to very few, because I can't even think of one 'reliable' provider that would let you near a /25
I see. Are you referring to VPSes?
What about dedicated providers?
It's rather hard to get a /25 on a VPS and probably near impossible to find a VPS provider with a Fusion IO Drive...
- Dedicated Servers, Co-location | GigePipe
- High Bandwidth Servers | PhotonVPS
- SSD Cloud
True Layer 7 DDoS Mitigation
| BGP Optimized by Noction Intelligent Routing | A
Los Angeles, CA (US West) | Dallas, TX (US East)
| Ashburn, VA (US East)
Dedicated providers will give you it, you will need to shop about but a /25 will cost you anything from $80-150 per month.
Providers are getting pressed hard to justify their usage properly so you can bet you will too. Try using it for the something really stupid like SEO and you can end up getting them take back off you.
