    Anyone tried Red Switches?

They (redswitches.com) seem to have some really low priced offers on some of their packages, so it piqued my interest, but I can't seem to find much reviews on it and zero from this year.

Well, their 100TB line in NL/DE seems to be quite competitively priced.

Have you already tested their sales to see how pro-active they are there?
That should mostly also tell you something about support.

Asking for speedtest files might also be useful to check the network they use.

Yeah, I already opened a ticket with them the same time I made this post.

Well, I suppose I'll leave and update here.

I did buy one server from them. One of their 100TB offerings from netherlands. It's housed in evoswitch/leaseweb. Good service and was setup in 1 business day. More specifically, completed order on saturday and setup at late monday to my specification without error.

One negative experience in this order was that they told me they had the server I wanted in stock (just one though). But when the order was going through, they tried to give me 2xL5420 (or similar, don't quite remember) instead due to stock issues because I wanted it asap. Rather a contradiction from previous statement, though I suppose it's possible they sold it between my sales mail and billing mail. Still got the order E3-1230 at the end though.

I suppose time will tell more on how it'll develop. But satisfied so far.

p.s. I'm not operating a website on this server, so it's rather hard to give verification.

8 months later, felt like writing a closing review on Red Switches.

The purchasing experience is available 2 posts above.

The server I ordered in Netherlands was housed in Leaseweb. The expectation of network quality of Leaseweb was applicable here as well.

Over the 8months time, I've had 2 downtimes.

    First on: 27/04/2014
I don't know what the issue was, but I simply opened a ticket saying it was down. Then got reply 2 minutes later saying it was fixed. Sad it went down, but very good resolution time.

    Second on: 31/05/2014
This one happened due to a billing error. I did pay for the month, but it was marked as unpaid for some reason. So ~6 days after, it became suspended. I opened a ticket explaining the situation and was resolved in 3 minutes. Again, sad it went down, but very good resolution time. They use WHMCS.

Eventually I canceled (filed on 12/06/2014, 2 weeks before cycle) the service for business reasons, not because their service was bad in anyway. Should the chance arise, it seems worth while to try them again. Although being in LW network, having response much faster than LW does have its benefits. Their responses are also very human and far from canned, which is often true for small companies.

As for their other DC's I have not tried them to write any review.
