Dns & Whm


I just setup my dns and when surfing to the ip address i get the Apache succesfully installed page . where can I put a default page for the dns IP ?

The DNS does not need a default page, but, if you want to put one there, create an account that uses that IP address (call it whatever you want - just make sure it is created with the IP address of the DNS that you specified).

Upload a page and you are done.

I thought the IP was reserved and I could not assign it to an account . Thanks again !

Glad to see ya made it ..

In the WHM ..

Did you have to create a default account for your Main IP address too or do ya just use the default Apache directory for the Host machine?

Anyone?

Actually, I heard that you CAN assign the DNS servers to an account if needed.

No i havn't created a default account for the main server account , I was waiting until the domain name propagates to the server to see if I actually need to do that ?
