    cpanel temporary databases corrupted


    On one of our servers, InnoDB tables has been corupted due to forcefull reboot. We restored users dbs from backup. However there are a few dbs named cptmpdb_somename which are corrupted. Is it safe to drop them?

    Yes, it is safe to remove the temp cptmpdb_ MySQL databases as per the infomation provided by cPanel; they are the left-overs of cPanel account restore. You can remove it from phpMyAdmin or dropped via mysql command line. One possbile reason to leave such DBs is discussed at
