change cPanel account served for a given domain

Is it possible to set up two cPanel accounts with different domains. But then be able to easily change the cpanel account that is served for a given domain? -> cpanel account "S1" -> cpanel account "S2"

Is there an easy way tell cpanel to now serve account S2 when a request for comes in?

The idea is to be able to push a server to production with very little downtime and no waiting for DNS propagation.

The best go is to create the domain and use a sub-domain to have your staging site. Once you are done with the development, you can move the files, and amend the files/databases.
