EZPZ Hosting e-mail issue to hotmail/outlook/msn addresses
Is anyone here hosting with EZPZHosting, on server cPanel18?
I'm having a very strange problem sending e-mails to any hotmail/outlook/msn addresses. The e-mails just aren't getting through and I'm getting no rejection notices. I'm on a reseller package and have clients who have e-mails forwarded to MSN/hotmail accounts so this is causing some inconveniences. It's not like it's just one domain, all accounts are having the same issue as far as I am aware.
Is anyone else having such issues, perhaps you are but didn't know about it?
I've created a support ticket but have heard nothing back from them for 4 days.
Microsoft is notorious for the silent bounces, they rarely send rejection notices for anything. It's possible that the issue is on EZPZ's side, but it could also be an issue with the client/script your sending from or with your email setup. Microsoft is very particular about what headers that are sent etc. (there was a time when they were blacklisting anything sent via ThunderBird).
Also, be sure to check your DKIM and SPF configuration.
Hotmail is a real pain to work with. Just a personal opinion/rant from my end :-).

Monitoring RBLs is generally a good idea but unfortunately Microsoft, Google & Yahoo don't care much about them and follow their own rules of what they deliver or not.
Microsoft has their Smart Network Data Services which can be used to get a general idea on why a server is having delivery issues to their services. It's not that great but neither are any of the other RBL's. I mean sorbs was down for what over a week recently? During that time they had no problem keeping IP's listed while not having any ability to remove listings.

I appreciate the issue may well be Microsoft's end but it's a major pain for some of my clients who use their services. Not ideal for myself either when I need to e-mail clients who use Microsoft e-mails. I'm having to resort to emailing from alternative accounts.
After this thread I did receive a reply from Dan on the 17th advising that if the issue isn't resolved in 24 hours they will setup a new outgoing IP. I've not heard anything back since, unfortunately this still hasn't been resolved.
