How can I permanently limit ffmpeg CPU usage?
I have multiple video conversion scripts running on CentOS server and ffmpeg uses way too much resources.
Does anybody know how can I limit ffmpeg CPU usage to 30%?
I tried with cpulimit, but it only works with 1 process and it doesn't work on ffmpeg execution.
I hope some Linux guru can help me with thisPleasure in the job puts perfection in the work.

Look at /etc/security/limits.conf as that should help you out a bit with what you want to do. It's fairly well documented so shouldn't give you any trouble.Tara Roberts
