    SolusVM Xen ext4 filesystem

    Hi,

I've purchased some XEN SolusVM templates and SolusVM sets every template with ext3 filesystem, is it possible to force Solus to create VM's with ext4 FS ?

Hardware node is running on Centos 6.4 and Template for VM is also Centos 6.4

    Thanks

You can switch between ext3/ext4 without any real penalty though obviously its best to have an actual ext4 filesystem.

Why don't you modify the templates /etc/fstab entry and re-package them. It's only a tarball.

Ok, i'll try to repackage templates with modified fstab, but I don't know why does SolusVM fomat Logical Volume that will be used by VPS as ext3 when creating or reinstalling VM ?

    Thanks Chris
