Which are the best webmaster forums ?
Hi
I am a newbie on this site. I am a freelance webmaster.
At the risk of this being slightly cheeky first question, I am looking to join about 3 or 4 forums for webmasters, (where we can discuss a variety of HTML/CSS/SEO/technical & semi-technical issues).
I would be interested to know which other forums you folks use and what you feel are the pros and cons of each forum.
With thanks
J
P.S. If this subject is not allowed, please let me know. Please don't just ban me!0

I tried v7n.com as they seem busy, but they banned me for spamming them (WTF? - why what did I do?!).
This is seriously irritating as they wont reply to my attempts to contact them... and worse, they SOMEHOW seem know that it me every time I try and open up an account there using a different email address, even though I am clearly out all my cookies. Even if I try on a different computer in a different geographic location.
It's extremely sinister in fact. Imagine if Facebook or Twitter or even Google could somehow ban you from ever using their sites(!)
And all I get is that "users are only allowed to open one account". And given that they never seem to reply to their contact us forms, what is one to do?
Fwiw, yes, I used to be a paying member of http://www.webmasterworld.com and the quality was excellent, however at (GBP): £99.61 per year that is insane money for nowadays...0

Sorry to hear you got banned. They'll even give you an infraction for welcoming people in the intro forum.
You can't just say. "Welcome to the forum. It's great that you joined."
One of the mods sent me a pm and said that your posting quality is low.
I guess they expect you to write out a novel when welcoming someone. But I see the mods replying with one line replies. "Welcome to the forums"
Then they give me an infraction and send me a pm stating low quality posting. When they post low quality posts as well.
But I still post over there as there are some interesting discussions.

Yes, their moderation sounds completely out of control. However on balance, moderation is useful so long as the site is still usable. So I'd still quite like to join them. But I have no idea how to do so! Any thoughts?

P.S. Maybe I need to get in touch with Antwerp drugs barons to see if they can recommend me a "professional hacker" to get in
